Participants

Base of the TUKE participating team are full professors, associate professors, assistant professors, junior researchers and doctoral students from the

  • Center for Intelligent Technologies (CIT) at the Department of Cybernetics and Artificial Intelligence,
  • Laboratory of Speech and Mobile Telecommunication Technologies (LRMTT) at the Department of Electronics and Multimedia Telecommunications (DEMC),
  • Laboratory of Intelligent Interfaces of the Communication and Information Systems (LIRKIS) at the Department of Computers and Informatics.

Base of the STU participating team are from the

  • Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies (FIIT)

Center for Intelligent Technologies

CIT consists of two interlocked laboratories, Laboratory for Autonomous Systems and Laboratory for Humanoid Systems. CIT works on research in computational intelligence and its applications in mechanical systems, especially, mobile robots where the major attention is paid to humanoid robots. Concerning mobile robots, CIT also operates in image processing, decision making support and prediction.

Laboratory of Speech and Mobile Technologies in Telecommunications

The research is focused on the problems of speech processing and advanced mobile technologies usable in a broad range of scope (telecommunications, robotics, police, justice and so on). The LSMTT laboratory has sufficient space, recording and computer equipment, as well as other infrastructure for resolution of such tasks. It has modern laboratories equipped with powerful workstations and servers, electro-acoustic measuring devices, recording and reproduction techniques, some of which was purchased from EU funds within the frame of building the Center of Information and Communication Technologies for Knowledge Systems (Center of Excellence).
